DIAMOND COILS

Stator coils with a diamond-shaped configuration, used in high-voltage rotating electrical machines to generate or manage magnetic fields efficiently.

  • Construction & Materials: Manufactured using precision-formed copper conductor, soft and hot pressed cell sections. Flexable and fully cured evolute options.
  • Technical Spec: Resin Rich or VPI Insulation Systems (from 200V DC to 22kV AC); Up to Class F temperature rise.
  • Applications: Medium and high-voltage synchronous generators and motors in power generation, hydroelectric, thermal, and large industrial drive systems.
  • Manufacturing & QC: CNC-formed with tight dimensional tolerances; subjected to surge testing, partial discharge analysis, hipot, resistance checks, and thermal cycle validation.

ARMATURE COILS

Electrically active windings positioned on the rotating part of DC machines or universal motors, responsible for EMF generation through electromagnetic interaction.

  • Construction & Materials: Constructed from round or rectangular copper wire, precision-layered or lap-wound, with integrated slot liners and conductor interconnections.
  • Technical Spec: Typically insulated to Class B, F, or H standards using resin-coated glass tapes, varnish impregnation, or flexible insulating sleeves depending on voltage and duty cycle.
  • Applications: DC motors and generators, traction equipment, industrial cranes, mining applications, and electric transportation systems.
  • Manufacturing & QC: Coil forming under controlled tension; electrical testing includes resistance and insulation resistance to verify reliability.

 Armature Coils

 

FIELD COILS (INC.STRIP ON EDGE)

Stationary or rotating electromagnetic windings that produce the primary magnetic field in synchronous machines. 'Strip-on-edge' refers to the use of flat copper strip wound vertically for space and performance efficiency.

  • Construction & Materials: Made from edge-wound copper strip with mechanically stable formers and rigid supports; configurations may include embedded cooling ducts or spacers.
  • Technical Spec: High-dielectric strength insulation systems (Class F or H), including resin-rich mica/glass layers and optional VPI treatment.
  • Applications: Synchronous motors and generators, hydroelectric and marine alternators, and large rotating machines with continuous or pulsed field excitation.
  • Manufacturing & QC: Formed with custom winding mandrels and heat-cured resins; tested using hipot, insulation resistance, and thermal cycling procedures in accordance with IEC/IEEE standards.

 Field Coils

 

STATOR BARS

High-voltage, insulated copper bars used in the stator cores of large generators and motors to conduct main phase current.

  • Construction & Materials: Straight and Roebel transpositions up to 540°. Resin-impregnated and overwrapped with mica-glass insulation. Shapes are precisely machined to slot and evolute requirements
  • Technical Spec: Resin rich and global VPI insulation systems.Up to 410MW with insulated section 40mm x 140mm; Up to Class F temperature rise.
  • Applications: Turbo generators, hydroelectric alternators, nuclear and fossil fuel generators, and high-capacity synchronous motors.
  • Manufacturing & QC: CNC shaping; End to end taped with PC controled six axies tape machines, program controlled hotpress processes, tested with surge voltage, partial discharge, tan delta, and endurance methods.

 

COIL WINDING KITS

Pre-packaged coil kits for repair or rewinding of electric motors and generators, containing all necessary components for efficient on-site or workshop winding.

  • Construction & Materials: Kits include insulation materials slot liners, wedges, tapes,encapsulated RTD and assembly aids tailored to the machine’s specs.
  • Technical Spec: Materials provided are rated to specified insulation classes (B, F, H), ensuring thermal compatibility and dielectric protection across all supplied components.
  • Applications: Designed for OEMs, service centers, and maintenance teams performing motor/generator rewinds in industries such as power generation, mining, and marine.
  • Manufacturing & QC: Assembled and pre-verified for fit and compliance with original winding specifications; each kit undergoes quality checks to ensure material traceability and consistency.
